Ages: 6 weeks to 12 months
Every child born into the world is a new thought, an ever-fresh and radiant possibility. – Kate Douglas Wiggin
Our Infant Program guides your baby's early experiences toward a lifelong love of learning.
Stepping Stones Preschool Academies believe in focusing on the needs of the “whole child” in every program that we offer. The Infant Program is available for ages 6 weeks to 12 months and is designed to promote discovery and to give each child the very best start. We implement appropriate practices through professional excellence, all in a caring environment.
Our Infants child care program encourages safe exploration in soft, inviting, and language-rich environments. We spend time with your child holding, talking to, and cuddling to provide a learning environment that instills trust through exploratory activities, outdoor play, and communication. Our caregivers help develop a daily schedule including nap time, play time, and bottle times. We believe in providing the nurturing care that is foundational to the infant’s social growth and happiness each day.
Infant’s activities progress from one-on-one teacher-infant interaction with feedings and naps as needed, to group activities planned within a structured schedule.

At the age of 6 weeks to 12 months, your Little Angel will:
-
understand sounds
-
respond to voice and direction
-
develop physical coordination
-
build small and large motor skills
-
participate in tummy time play
The Stepping Stones curriculum is integrated into your child’s day utilizing the best trends in education that are based on brain research, all in a loving environment. Throughout the day, there is a balance of quiet and active periods. Our infants’ program offers an early education experience that gives every child a head start in kindergarten and beyond for a love for learning to last a lifetime.
All infant care is unique to your child's progress, needs and age. We are committed to provide nurturing care for your infant that will encourage exploration!
